Charity Partner Package launched for On Shrewsbury Half Marathon 2019

The organisers of On Shrewsbury Half Marathon have launched a new National Charity Partner Package for the event on Sunday 6th October 2019.
The National Charity Partner Package gives charities the chance to buy blocks of 10 places for this much-loved race that takes runners through Shrewsbury’s historic centre and out into the beautiful Shropshire countryside.
Alongside their race places, each charity will receive a dedicated 3x3m space in the race village plus their logo and url on the event website.
On Shrewsbury Half Marathon is a fantastic platform for charity fundraising, with many runners taking on the 13.1-mile course to raise money for a cause close to their hearts. It is a perfect opportunity to take part in a friendly and professional race, have a superb autumn goal to work towards and make a difference to others.
With four months to go, and with the added incentive of training over the summer months, now is the ideal time for charities to get involved and recruit runners.
Any charity interested in the National Charity Partner Package for On Shrewsbury Half Marathon should email charity@shrewsburyhalf.com. The cost is £35 per place and 10 charity places must be booked at a time.
The 2019 On Shrewsbury Half Marathon promises to be the biggest and best yet, with the organisers already reporting a 40% increase in registrations compared to 2018. There has been a positive reaction to the change of date from Father’s Day last year to an early autumn date this year, and the wheels are firmly in motion to deliver a high-quality experience for runners.
Swiss shoe brand On is confirmed as Headline Sponsor for the event #ShrewsburyIsOn, specialist running retailer Up & Running is returning as Official Sports Retail Partner and a new Family 1.1 Mile has been introduced for families and young runners. Up & Running’s SRG run group will also be supporting the pacers in the half marathon and there will be increased retail opportunities in the first-class race village at Shropshire County Showground.

On Shrewsbury Half Marathon offers immense runner support, with all finishers receiving a bespoke medal, technical t-shirt, goody bag, free pre- and post-race massages and free race photos.
