Ealing Half Marathon offers training runs with Ealing Eagles



Ealing Half Marathon training runs

The organisers of the award-winning Ealing Half Marathon have announced a series of training runs ahead of the event on Sunday 29th September 2019.

The training runs will be led by the local Ealing Eagles Running Club and will offer participants a great chance to recce some of the 13.1-mile course.

The runs take place as follows:

Wednesday 7th August – 5 miles (meet at The Drayton Court Hotel at 7pm)
Wednesday 21st August – 6 miles (meet at The Drayton Court Hotel at 7pm)
Sunday 15th September – 13.1 miles (meet at Lammas Park W5 5JH at 9am)

Runners of all abilities are welcome at the training runs, from first-time half marathon runners through to more confident runners. The runs will be a perfect opportunity to meet fellow runners and get excited about the eighth edition of Ealing Half Marathon this autumn.

Ealing Half Marathon training runsBag drops are available at the pub locations, and for the last long run the bag drop will be at The Castle Inn, 36 St Mary’s Road, Ealing W5 5EU. Runners are advised not to leave any valuables in their bags as the venues cannot be held responsible for items left.

A total of 7,000 runners from over 25 countries are set to take on Ealing Half Marathon on 29th September. The race is a big favourite among the running community and is well known for its incredible community support and #EalingFeeling. The race starts and finishes in Lammas Park and takes in parts of Central Ealing, Montpelier, Pitshanger, West Ealing, Hanwell and St Stephens.

Ealing Half Marathon takes place at 9am on Sunday 29th September 2019. Entry is open and costs £48 (affiliated) / £50 (unaffiliated).
