    • The 10th anniversary race of the award-winning Ealing Half Marathon took place on Sunday 25th September 2022, and entries to the 11th edition of the race on Sunday 24th September 2023 are open.

    Set up as a legacy to London’s Olympic Games, Ealing Half is a much loved event that brings the community together and attracts runners from all over the UK and abroad.

    Ealing Half Marathon race weekend 2022 saw Ealing buzzing with runners, supporters, residents and volunteers celebrating the return of the #EalingFeeling to the parks and streets of the borough.

    The race is a firm fixture in the autumn running calendar and a big favourite among the running community, having been voted the UK’s best half marathon three years in a row at The Running Awards.

    Ealing Half Marathon is a UKA-measured course on closed roads around West London. The 13.1-mile single lap course takes runners through Central Ealing, Montpelier, Pitshanger, West Ealing, Hanwell and St Stephens before crossing the finish line in Lammas Park.

    Ealing Half Marathon attracts an international running field but has its roots firmly in the local community and sees a lot of support from local businesses, residents and runners. The race is a Community Interest Company (CIC), which exists to benefit the community rather than private shareholders. All money raised by the race is invested straight back into campaigns and activities within the local community, such as projects to tackle childhood obesity and setting up running clubs at schools and for adults.

    The official charities for the 2023 race include Macmillan Cancer Support (Platinum Headline Charity), Meadow House Hospice (Gold Charity) ; and a number of associated charities including  The Store Cupboard, CPISRA, The Log Cabin, and A Mile in her shoes  .
