The award-winning Ealing Half Marathon returns to West London’s Lammas Park at 9am on Sunday 30th September 2018 for its 7th anniversary race. Set up as a legacy to London’s Olympic Games, the Ealing Half is a much loved event that brings the community together and attracts runners from all over the UK and abroad to experience the #EalingFeeling.
The 2017 Ealing Half Marathon was a beautiful autumn day of outstanding sporting achievement and community support, and another huge success for this multi award-winning race. The event saw the leafy streets of West London filled with thousands of runners and spectators, all out enjoying the blue skies, warm temperatures and celebratory atmosphere.
The race is now a firm fixture in the autumn running calendar and a big favourite among the running community, collecting the Silver award in the Best Half Marathon category (more than 5,000 runners) at the The 2017 Running Awards. It was also voted the UK’s best half marathon by runners at the same awards in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Ealing Half Marathon has again been shortlisted in the Half Marathon (≥ 5,000) category at The 2018 Running Awards; voting is now closed and the winners will be revealed at the ceremony on 19th April 2018.
The Ealing Half Marathon is a UKA measured course on closed roads around West London. The 13.1-mile single lap course takes runners through Central Ealing, Montpelier, Pitshanger, West Ealing, Hanwell and St Stephens before crossing the finish line in Lammas Park.

Ealing Half Marathon: The Movie!
The Ealing Half Marathon attracts an international running field but has its roots firmly in the local community and sees a lot of support from local businesses, residents and runners. The race is a Community Interest Company (CIC), which exists to benefit the community rather than private shareholders. All money raised by the race is invested straight back into campaigns and activities within the local community, such as projects to tackle childhood obesity and setting up running clubs at schools and for adults.
