Organisers of The Running Awards have announced Blackbaud fundraising platform everydayhero as the headline sponsor of The Running Awards 2015, which is now called ‘The Running Awards in association with everydayhero’.
The Running Awards in association with everydayhero takes place at indigo at The O2 in London on Friday 24th April and is the only independent annual awards ceremony recognising and celebrating the best of running and its culture.
Everydayhero is a fundraising platform by Blackbaud, who have been developing software and services for not-for-profits for the past 30 years. With everydayhero, supporters can not only fundraise, donate and volunteer for an organisation, but also see and track the true impact of the voice, time and effort with their personal Giving Footprint.
Everydayhero is the first title sponsor of The Running Awards following the inaugural happening of the awards ceremony in 2014.
Paul Corrick, Director of Reality Ltd and Co-Founder of The Running Awards commented:
“We are excited to announce everydayhero as the headline sponsor for The Running Awards. Everydayhero is the perfect fit for The Running Awards, with so many runners being part of a huge community dedicated to raising money for causes that are close to their hearts. The ‘Favourite Charity’ award is attracting an exceptionally high number of votes, showing how passionate runners are about making a difference and raising valuable funds for charity.
“We are looking forward to working with everydayhero closely over the coming months and to celebrating all things running at the awards ceremony in April.”
John Bird, General Manager, Digital Fundraising at Blackbaud Europe said:
“We are really excited to be involved in The Running Awards. With everydayhero, we show the impact of all you give because we know that giving is more than just money. Giving is the effort you put into training; giving is the time you spend volunteering; giving is your voice when you spread the word; and giving is the money you raise for your cause. Everything counts, so we count it. We are proud to show our support for those runners and the brands that support them at The Running Awards.”
The Running Awards in association with everydayhero is the only independent annual awards ceremony recognising and celebrating the best of running and its culture, with runners and consumers supporting and voting for their favouriteproducts, brands, publications, sports retailers and events. Nominations are now closed and the shortlists will be unveiled this week. The winners will be announced and presented with their awards at the ‘big and bold’ evening awards ceremony at indigo at The O2 next April, in front of industry guests, media and the general public. Voting is free, quick and very simple, the only details required are a name and email address.
The Running Awards in association with everydayhero is organised by Reality Ltd who specialise in designing, staging and producing a wide variety of live events across a diverse range of industries, from awards and conferences to music and red carpet events.
