Mike Bushell hosting running awards ceremony in April



Sports presenter Mike Bushell has been announced as the celebrity co-host of The Running Awards in association with everydayhero featuring the Runner’s World Personal Best Awards, which takes place at indigo at The O2 in London on Friday 24 April.

Mike BushellMike Bushell was presenting the inaugural Running Awards in 2014, and the organisers have confirmed that he will be back to co-host the 2015 bigger and bolder awards ceremony at the new prestigious venue.

As the presenter of the main sports bulletins of the day Mike has profiled nearly 400 different sports and activities, always trying to inspire others to exercise with the aim to show that there is a sport out there for everyone. Mike has always been a keen sportsman with an ongoing passion for running, and he excelled in cross country running. In the 1980’s as a teenager, he also ran 175 miles in 6 days to raise money for charity.

The very best in the running industry will be recognised on 24 April, and the nation’s runners are being encouraged to choose who they think should be crowned the industry’s best in two separate awards, the 2015 Running Awards in association with everydayhero and the Runner’s World Personal Best Awards.

Vote for the 2015 Running Awards in association with everydayhero at http://therunningawards.com and choose a favourite from categories including shoes, races and retailers through to most exciting blogs and favourite charity.

In addition, voting for the Runner’s World Personal Best Awards www.runnersworld.co.uk is open, where you can vote for the running industry’s top performers across products, services and races.

Both awards take place in one evening at indigo at The O2 on Friday 24 April, and all associated voting is completely independent of each other.
