The Outlaw Half Nottingham returns to the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham on 20th May 2018 and tickets to this immensely popular event sold out in minutes.
The legendary Middle Distance event comprises a 1.2-mile open water swim, 56-mile bike ride and a 13.1-mile run, which must be completed in under nine hours.
Although general public entries are now sold out, places are still available for the Outlaw Half Nottingham through Cancer Research UK. Competitors can obtain a charity place for just £50, with a pledge to fundraise a minimum of £450, or buy a place for £285 and fundraise as much as they can. With many months to go and plenty of time to fundraise, this is a fantastic option for athletes who missed out on a public place but who are still keen to take part in this unmissable event.
The 2018 Outlaw Half Nottingham has attracted 1,500 entries, 30% of which are female. The average age is 43, the youngest competitor is 20 and the oldest is 75, making for a diverse and interesting field.
For the first time, the 2018 race will feature an elite wave, brought about at the request of competitors and following the successful trial of an elite wave at the Outlaw Half Holkham.
The Outlaw Half Holkham goes on sale in early September and the full distance Outlaw Triathlon goes on sale in late September, earlier than previously published. Keep up to date with the latest information at www.osbevents.com.
