UK Run Events, the events channel of #UKRunChat and organisers of The Running Festival at Goodwood, have confirmed Pop Up Pit Shops for the event on Sunday 14th October 2018.
Located in the pit garages, the aptly-named Pop Up Pit Shops will enable runners to stock up on running apparel, accessories and nutrition for the 10K, Half Marathon and Family Mile as well as the season ahead.
The Pop Up Pit Shops will include a range of well-known brands and innovative accessories for runners, with the first Pit Shop welcoming UKRunChat and event merchandise.
As Official Sports Retail Partner for UK Run Events, Up & Running will also be present. The specialist running retailer will be selling footwear, apparel, accessories and nutrition for runners, and the event’s Official Sports Brand Partners Ronhill, Hilly and Altra will take over one of the Pop Up Pit Shops to showcase their latest products. It has also been confirmed that The Running Festival at Goodwood will be an integral part of Ronhill’s #RunEveryDay October challenge.
There will be plenty of choice for running kit with Halo Headband releasing a special edition headband for the race and Runr selling a great selection of products and accessories for use before, during and after the race.
Runderwear will be featuring their award-winning performance underwear and The Buddy Pouch will be showing why their magnetic running pouches are replacing armbands and running belts for runners and outdoor enthusiasts.
Perfect Chaos will be revealing their new range of hand-poured, natural soy wax candles with “no nasties”. Made with essential oils, these are ideal for an energy boost or for relaxation after exercise.
Two Pop Up Pit Shops will be taken up by the Physiotherapy Partner who will be providing free pre- and post-race massage and advice.
A highly anticipated part of race day is the presence of many running communities including UKRunChat and Run Mummy Run. As well as having their own wave of runners in the 10K and Half Marathon, it has been confirmed that Run Mummy Run founder Leanne Davies will be there with her team selling merchandise, signing books and providing a meeting place for Run Mummy Run wave runners.

The Running Festival at Goodwood takes place on Sunday 14th October 2018 and entries are open to all races.
Entry fees until 31st August are £22 (affiliated) / £24 (non-affiliated) for the 10K and £30 / £32 for the Half Marathon, including a unique medal, a technical Ronhill race souvenir t-shirt, free event photography, a goody bag and a themed finish.
Entries to the Family Mile cost £8 for children aged 11 and above running unaccompanied, and also per adult. Entry costs £5 per child aged 4-10 accompanied by an adult. All finishers of the Family Mile receive a medal.
