Run 2018 Brighton Marathon for Extratime
- Tags:

The Brighton Marathon takes place on Sunday 15th April 2018 and this hugely popular running event will be supporting over 300 charities. With five months to go, now is the perfect time to sign up, get training and look forward to a fantastic race weekend by the sea!
Running a marathon is a huge deal, and one way to make all that training and commitment even more worthwhile is to run for a charity. And why not make that charity Extratime?
Extratime is an award-winning charity providing play and leisure activities for some of the most severely disabled and challenging children and young people at venues across Brighton & Hove and West Sussex.
At Extratime clubs and holiday schemes, children and young people with a wide range of needs, abilities and interests have the specialist support and care they need to have fun, try new things and make new friends.
Check out their website to learn more about Extratime and what they do: www.extratimebrighton.org.uk.
Those running the 2018 Brighton Marathon for Extratime will receive:
- support with fundraising
- meal with the rest of the team the night before the run
- personalised running vest
- goody bag at the end of the run
- individual certificate to record your achievement
In return, the charity asks that runners raise a minimum of £500 in sponsorship to support their valuable work.
