The 2015 Running Awards hailed a huge success

The Running Awards in association with everydayhero took place for the 2nd time last Friday 24th April at indigo at The O2 in London and has been hailed a huge success by the running industry. The awards ceremony moved to a bigger venue for 2015 with the industry and community showing overwhelming support for the big and bold night celebrating all things running.

The awards evening started with the Runner’s World PB Awards, with the winners announced at the beginning of the ceremony in front of key industry figures and VIP guests before the start of The 2015 Running Awards in association with everydayhero.

A room full of A-list names from the running and sports industry was complemented by runners and consumers who took the balcony seats for The 2015 Running Awards in association with everydayhero to be a part of the celebrations and to see the results of what they had been voting for since nominations opened in August 2014.

Mike Bushell was presenting the awards and was joined on the stage by some special guests and celebrity presenters including Mara Yamauchi, Martin Yelling, Steve Way, Jemma Simpson and Lornah Kiplagat, who were all actively showing their support.

Every running essential category was recognised at the awards with a mix of industry leaders through to up and coming brands plus events being awarded bronze, silver or gold through the independent public nominations and voting.

The night had such a positive feel to it, and to share in the celebration of success – of charities, events and all the companies involved in the sector – was an absolute privilege.
