Skechers Performance Division confirmed as sponsor of The Running Awards in association with everydayhero
The Running Awards in association with everydayhero continues to go from strength to strength, with the award-winning Skechers Performance Division announced as the latest sponsor.
The Running Awards in association with everydayhero takes place at indigo at The O2 in London on Friday 24th April and is the only independent annual awards ceremony recognising and celebrating the best of running and its culture.
The award-winning Skechers Performance Division designs and produces an extensive collection of technologically advanced performance footwear, with elite athletes worldwide competing and winning in their footwear. Elite marathon champion and Boston Marathon winner Meb Keflezighi and elite runner Kara Goucher are amongst Skechers’ celebrity product endorsees.
Nominations for The Running Awards in association with everydayhero are now closed, and with the top 12 shortlists unveiled runners can vote once more for their favourites in the shortlists until the individual categories close. During the five months of nominations a total of 945 products, brands, events, publications and sports retailers were nominated by runners and consumers. The shortlists can be viewed on the website http://therunningawards.com .
The winners will be announced and presented with their awards at the ‘big and bold’ evening awards ceremony at indigo at The O2 in April, in front of industry guests, media and the general public. Voting is free, quick and very simple, the only details required are a name and email address.
Indigo at The O2 offers capacity for 500 VIP gala dinner guests and a further 700 balcony seats for runners and everyone who wants to be part of the awards celebrations. Tables can be booked now, and details of the seat booking options will be announced shortly.

The organisers have also teamed up with Pic2Go UK to bring social media image technology to the awards ceremony, which will be the first time this technology application is put into action at an awards event in the UK.
