The National Running Show London takes place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June 2020 at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.
This is the first year that the award-winning show comes to London and there is great excitement about the inaugural event in the UK’s capital.
With a mid-summer date to complement The National Running Show Birmingham in partnership with Children with Cancer UK in January, The National Running Show London will enable runners of all levels to discover the latest kit, tech, nutrition and races from over 200 exhibitors, learn from an inspiring line-up of speakers and improve their running technique thanks to the many interactive feature areas under one roof.
Just like its sister event, this weekend-long celebration of running will bring together thousands of runners, sports brands, retailers, nutrition experts, race organisers and communities, and will be fantastic motivation for those planning autumn races and looking ahead to 2021.
Confirmed brands include 2XU, Altra, AW, Ealing Half Marathon, FCN, Flapjackery, Gu, Hilly, Intersport, LightupU, London Relay, Mysports & More, Nakedrunner, Rawvelo, Ronhill, Run Mummy Run, Runderwear, Running Forum, Scimitar, Sports Insight, Up & Running, Vibram, White Star Running, Women’s Running and YAMAtune.
Intersport is the Sports Retail Partner for The National Running Show London.
The National Running Show London will also welcome a first-class line-up of speakers who will be sharing their anecdotes, wisdom and tips with a packed audience. Dame Kelly Holmes will be both speaking at and opening the show. Other speakers over the two days include Olympic 400m athlete Roger Black MBE and presenter Nell McAndrew, whilst endurance runner Susie Chan and adventurer Danny Bent will be co-hosting.
Special new Feature Areas have been confirmed for The National Running Show London, enabling visitors to chat to the experts, get active and try out all kinds of kit and equipment.
These include: The Running Cinema, which will be screening favourite running films whilst viewers tuck into skinny popcorn; The Retreat, offering free workshops on mindfulness and yoga; Run The Dark, a chance to try out the latest kit on the neon track; a Community Bar dedicated to community meet-ups; The Nutrition Theatre, full of tips and inspiration about nutrition; The Treatment Room, offering specialist injury advice from expert practitioners, and Treadmill Spinning, which is as energetic as it sounds!
Many more brands, partners and speakers are due to be announced over the coming months.
The National Running Show has announced a Sustainability Policy in order to offset the environmental impact of the event at every stage in the production line. This includes a Travel Carbon Calculator so that exhibitors and visitors can offset the carbon footprint of their travel to the show.
